Your Lack of Success Is Not Your Company’s Fault
There’s no question it’s helpful to be part of a great company with a great product or products and have a great system in place with great training. It’s also true that in order for you to be really successful, you must believe in your company and what it does.
But you know what? Even at the best of companies, with the best products, the best systems and the best training, there are still only 3% of the people who are getting the truly significant, massive results they came for.
Why is that?
It stands to reason that it’s best that you find a company with an opportunity you can truly be passionate about. Afterall, that passion will help keep you going during the inevitable challenging periods you will encounter as you build your business.
But let’s be clear. Your success in building your network marketing business comes down to one thing and one thing only: you. It’s all about you.
Your Success Is About You
Your success is about you taking personal responsibility for your results and learning to get out of your own way. It’s about you buckling down and making the decision to act – to do the things successful network marketers do and to do them consistently.
You are where you are today because you chose to be there. You are the sum total of your past decisions. So avoid the trap of blaming the company, the products, the system, or the training because it is never about those things. If it were, then nobody would be having the results and the company would not be in business.
If you’re having difficulty finding people willing to get started with you in your network marketing business, the best way to fix it is to take a really authentic look in the mirror. People looking for an opportunity are rarely if ever persuaded by the company, the products, or the system.
What they are ultimately persuaded by – what they are ultimately buying – is you. They are buying your leadership. They are buying your ability to teach them how to get the results they want. They are buying their belief in you.
So if you are struggling with your network marketing results and find yourself caught up in the “blame game”, reflect for a moment on who you are being in your business. And then set about becoming the network marketing leader who will inspire others to follow you.
