The most successful leaders in the network marketing and home business industry all talk about the importance of having a solid daily routine you incorporate into the operation of your business. There are five critical elements that are essential to your daily routine. Are you incorporating these into your daily method of operation?

Applying these five elements into your daily routine will help you maintain a healthy mindset and bring high energy to your business. They will make you more effective and powerful in your business. Applying them with consistent persistence over time will help you build a successful and thriving network marketing business.

  1. Personal Development. Your personal growth and development is fundamental to your network marketing success. As John Henry Newman said, “Growth is the only evidence of life”. So contribute to your growth as a leader in your network marketing business by spending at least 20 minutes each day writing out your goals and affirmations, listening to a CD, or reading an inspiring book. Feed yourself every day with positive thoughts and messages.
  2. Visualization and meditation. Creative visualization is a technique that was actively taught by Wallace Wattles, one of the pioneers of the new thought movement and author of the classic 1910 book “The Science of Getting Rich”. Take time to quiet your mind and connect with who you intend to be today. Visualize yourself having achieved your goals. Design your life in your mind, remind yourself of who you are being, and ready yourself to have the conversations with your prospects.
  3. Core Time. Your daily core time is your uninterrupted time spent only on the money making activities of your business. That means calling people and having conversations. Spend a minimum of two uninterrupted hours. It is in this time that you ultimately make your money. It is in this time that you are taking the action that needs to be taken in your business.
  4. Leadership. Set the expectation of leadership in everything you do. This begins with your own example as the leader of you. Consistently do what you say you are going to do. Demonstrate to others the qualities you are looking for in them. Do this for your prospects and do this for your team. Set aside 30 minutes each day to connect with your team members, check in on their progress, and ask where you can help. By being a stand for them and their ability to be successful, you are doing the same for yourself.
  5. Mastermind. You can’t grow and be successful by remaining isolated. Make a point of hanging around with people who will help you get better. Spend time with other successful and effective leaders. These may be people on your team, or in your up-line, or in your community, but they are easy to spot — they are successful. Build relationships with them and exchange ideas. You learn the most from people who are walking the walk, from the people who are getting results. It may take the form of a phone conversation, or a lunch, or exchanging emails. Perhaps it takes the form of listening to a presentation, an audio, or joining a club or association. It doesn’t matter so long as you make a habit of doing it every day.
