3 Reasons to Embrace Network Marketing
Warren Wojnowski
In order to build a mindset of unshakable belief and passion that’s going to propel you to action, you have to be fully committed to and embrace network marketing as an industry.
Yet in my experience, one of the most common traps we fall into that literally kills any success you might have is your failure to truly embrace the network marketing industry. If you feel ashamed or embarrassed to admit that you are part of the industry, that’s your clue that you have some hang ups to overcome with your mindset. And until you do, success will continue to elude you.
There are several common reasons why this mindset trap can exist, but typically it’s the result of stories you’ve heard and other people’s opinions about the industry that have been shared with you over the course of your lifetime. In many circles, network marketing has a bad reputation because of the illegal or unethical practices of a handful of rotten apples.
If you are going to succeed in your network marketing business, it’s important that you differentiate for yourself the unsavory actions of a few people from what the industry itself represents.
Here are three simple points that may help you to better embrace network marketing as an industry:
- The network marketing industry is flourishing. There are in excess of 14 million distributors around the world who generate in excess of $100 billion dollars annually. It has been embraced as a preferred distribution model by thousands upon thousands of companies in virtually every industry – from nutrition, to cosmetics, to telecommunications, to financial services, to travel, and more.
- Network marketing has been embraced by all of these companies because it works. It’s a very cost effective means of distributing product and many companies, were it not for the network marketing model of distribution, would have never been able to afford to distribute their products profitably.
- Of course network marketing is a win-win proposition for both the company and its distributors. It offers tremendous pay potential based on your results, and generally there is a level playing field with no prejudice based upon education, gender, ethnic background, etc. Paul Zane Pilzer, a world renowned economist and college professor, goes so far as to predict that over 10 million new millionaires will be created through network marketing over the next 10 years.
